Salten’s Translators in Alphabetical Order

This list comprises all over one hundred translators of Felix Salten mentioned in the Preliminary Bibliography. How to read the listings?

After the name, “Des Gouttes, Jacqueline”, and the double vertical line, you have the publication date of the original work, “1938”, as it appears in the Bibliography (in this case meaning Perri), then, after the slash, the language, “French”, and after a second slash the publication date(s) of his or her translation, “1943”; newly illustrated editions follow separated with plus signs, “+1958”.

If the translator has rendered several works from German into his or her language (in this case, Perri in 1943 and Djibi in 1946), they are separated with bullets, “●”; the language is not repeated because in the Bibliography most translators have only had one target language (except for, e.g., Serbocroatian/Serbian/Croatian). — Corrections and additions are welcome.
