As you compare these two screenshots from two different releases of Walt Disney’s Alice in Wonderland, you can see how the new release shows improved image quality and the colours look different.

The old images come from the Scandinavian DVD release (Region 2) of ca. 2000 and the new from the “Masterpiece Edition” (Region 1) of 2004.
